ScreenCraft Fellowship Quarterfinals
MOUNT PLEASANT has been named a quarter-finalist in the ScreenCraft Fellowship! "Announcing the quarter-finalists of the 5th annual ScreenCraft Screenwriting Fellowship, selected from over 2,000 applications. Congratulations to these talented quarter-finalists and thanks to all for submitting this year. Featured Script on The Black List: MOUNT PLEASANT
One of my goals when I set out to write MOUNT PLEASANT was to be a part of the Featured Script section on The Black List...and I get to check that off the dream list today! I got to work with an amazing designer to make a poster of MOUNT PLEASANT, and I love how it turned out. Cat Dale accepts Fiction Filmmaking Assistant Professorship at Montana State University
I am so excited to accept this new position and move to the great state of Montana. I will continue teaching screenwriting and other fiction film production courses. MOUNT PLEASANT Selected for the Second Round of Qualification for the Sundance Episodic Lab
The Sundance Institute Episodic Lab is a six-day program at the Sundance Resort in Utah that offers writers the opportunity to workshop an original pilot script, while developing their writing and pitching skills. Working with accomplished showrunners, non-writing creative producers and executives, the Fellows participate in one-on-one story meetings, pitching sessions, and simulated writers rooms, which together provide creative and strategic keys to success.
